69-10 ... Good Game!

Todd had some spare football tickets last weekend so Julie and I got to go to the K-State vs Montana State game!

It was lots of fun. KSU 69, MSU 10. Julie and I were hoping to get over 70, but our backup quarterback didn't make much progress and we kept "going for it" with 4th and long. We had a lot of fun though - I thought it was nice not to have to worry.

I haven't had much in the way of news lately. It is important to note that today might be the last blog I ever make. I'm referring, of course, to the impending activation of the Large Hadron Collider at Cern.

After which, scientists will have either discovered the elusive Higgs-Boson particle, or annihilated our solar system. Instantly engulfed by a black hole can't be a bad way to go, right? In defense of the kooks that think Bad Things could happen, if we actually knew what it would do we wouldn't need to experiment right? I'm hoping it broadens the range of climates where pineapples will grow. Oooh, or instantly condenses 50 Gigatons of carbon from the atmosphere - causing it to precipitate all over ... lets say ... Iran. (That was interesting, I actually had a difficult time thinking up a country upon which to wish yucky things, the world's getting too complicated.)

Good luck!

SHAMU! :D

It looks like we're all still alive after they used the collider, so all is good :).
